Stay tuned for more information about the postponed
Marketing Excellence Awards!

SMPS Colorado is making the difficult decision to postpone our annual awards celebration due to the continuing spread of COVID-19 across the United States and the world. The safety of our members and event attendees is of utmost concern, so we'll be postponing the Marketing Excellence Awards until Spring 2021. We will announce a specific date for the event in January 2021.

Hopefully, by that time, we will have regained some sense of normalcy in routine so we can all celebrate together. We'll continue preparing for the event in the background as if this never happened, but if you have questions regarding the implications of our decision to change the event date, please reach out to the Marketing Excellence Awards Chair, Regina Pilot, for more information. Learn more about what this means for nominees, submitters, sponsors and attendees below.

We hope you'll join us in Spring 2021 to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Colorado’s top AEC firms and professionals. It will be an evening of networking, great food, and recognition of our 2020 award winners!

All ticket purchases that have already been made for the originally scheduled 2020
event will be honored for the Spring 2021 event. If you have questions specific to ticket purchases, please contact [email protected].

SMPS Colorado will announce all nominees for Marketer of the Year, Business Developer of the Year and Member of the Year in August 2020.

All 2020 nominees along with all award submissions winners will be presented at the Spring 2021 event. We will not release a Call for Entries for additional nominees or award submissions before the Spring 2021 event.

Following the Spring 2021 event, the next Marketing Excellence Awards event will take place in Spring 2022. The Call for Entries will outline submission criteria to be inclusive of all work completed/produced from January 2019 through January 2022 to ensure our shift in schedule will allow all applicable entries to be recognized.

Sponsorships are still available for the Spring 2021 event! All sponsorships for the originally scheduled 2020 event will carry over to the Spring 2021 event.

Again, submissions and professional award nominations will not be reopened prior to the Spring 2021 event.
