Moderator: Allison Seabeck Allison Seabeck has a passion for helping visionary leaders and growing organizations make greater and more positive impacts in the world. As an executive leader and business adviser, Allison focuses on building alignment and clarity of purpose with leadership teams, particularly during times of growth and change. As Executive Director of the Warehouse Business Accelerator, Allison is building a regional support network to help innovative businesses in Northern Colorado scale their organizations and build sustainable success. The Warehouse is Northern Colorado's scale-up accelerator for technology and advanced manufacturing businesses who have graduated from start-up phase.
Speakers: Clay Frickey Clay Frickey is the Planning Manager for the City of Fort Collins. Fort Collins has a vision of being a sustainable, connected, and inclusive community. Clay leads the Planning department in helping ensure our built environment in Fort Collins becomes the sustainable, connective, inclusive place that our community envisions. Prior to his work with the Planning Department, Clay was the Redevelopment Program Manager in Sustainability Services. His work as the Redevelopment Program Manager focused on managing the operations of the Urban Renewal Authority. This work included supporting redevelopment projects, developing investment strategies with the community, and fostering development aligned with the community’s vision.
Michael Bussmann Michael Bussman, a Business Liaison for Capital Projects in the Economic Development Department for the City of Fort Collins, partners with local businesses and project managers across the city organization to develop and implement consistent strategies to reduce the impacts of capital construction. His keys to success include creative community engagement, relationship building, problem-solving, conflict management, and understanding the operational needs and drivers of local businesses. He consistently seeks to better understand and remove roadblocks within existing city processes to help the business community continue to thrive.
Clyde Wood Clyde Wood, Vice President of Commercial + Mixed-use Development at McWhinney, is a commercial real estate development executive with over 20 years of experience across all major asset classes, including multi-family, office, industrial, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use. In his role, he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing commercial development opportunities throughout Colorado's Front Range. Currently, he leads the firm’s industrial development platform and is spearheading the $400 million redevelopment of the Foothills Mall in Fort Collins into a vibrant, walkable, mixed-use district.
Ashley Stiles As founder and CEO of Tribe Development, Ashley offers more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate along Colorado’s Front Range. Her signature development approach ensures her projects set the standard for function, design and positive interaction in their communities. Ashley is a proud member of the Chickasaw nation who brings a unique voice and distinct perspective to the table. She believes in creating and cultivating community by looking beyond the physical elements of the built environment to consider its greater impact on the people who use it. A graduate of both Colorado State University and the University of Denver, Ashley’s professional expertise includes identifying new market opportunities, guiding entitlement and municipal coordination, design and construction oversight and financial and legal management. Over the course of her career, she has developed more than $1 billion in assets. In addition to her work at Tribe, Ashley has extensive experience serving on multiple boards including the Women’s Foundation of Colorado, American Cancer Society, CSU’s Green and Gold Foundation, and CSU’s Everitt School of Real Estate Board.
