Why are budgets vital to our marketing roles, and how exactly do you go about establishing a budget? This 1-hour session will walk you through the relationship between finance and marketing and how a proper understanding of this relationship can help you develop a marketing budget tied to your overall firm strategy and adhere to it throughout the year. Travis will also explain how financial knowledge will enhance your big-picture understanding of your firm’s business and make you an even more valuable asset to your company.

Travis Wilson, CPSM - Lochner, Associate Vice President
Travis Wilson, CPSM is a professional services marketer with over 18 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. He currently leads the Western Division marketing and business development efforts for the national transportation engineering firm Lochner. Prior to that, he served in multiple marketing roles for a national construction company and a regional architectural firm. Travis is a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) and active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), regularly speaking and writing on marketing, business development, and proposal management.
