Category: Programs
In August, we will explore Transit Oriented Developments and Transportation/Infrastructure Updates for Colorado, as mobility that infrastructure creates is the backbone of a strong economy, and the foundation for new construction projects. Policy updates are in the pipeline for Transit Oriented Developments (TODs) in the City of Denver. A new Transportation Demand Management (TDM) policy is currently in process with the City and should be approved in the coming months. The City will present what prompted the need for this policy and what it means for existing and future construction projects in Denver. Hear the perspective of private real estate industry and local government leaders as they discuss the benefits of TDM and how construction projects may need to change to accommodate it. Smarter use of existing transportation infrastructure is the foundation of more sustainable cities and Denver is looking to lead the way in Colorado. Join SMPS Colorado for this discussion and the opportunity to virtually connect with your A/E/C peers. Learning Objectives:
