Brian has specific expertise in the design/build delivery method, having managed multiple award-winning design-build projects, including a recipient of the DBIA National Award of Excellence. As the Director of Science + Technology, Brian focuses on projects for clients with specialized, technical spaces, including everything from laboratories to manufacturing facilities.

Tim Heaton is the President of the Colorado Advanced Manufacturing Association (CAMA), where he leads strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Board of Directors to enhance the organization's direction and services for its manufacturing members. With over twenty-five years of manufacturing expertise spanning from concept validation to large-scale capital development and product innovation, Tim combines his background in economic development and governmental affairs to advocate for Colorado manufacturers at both national and state levels. Previously, he held roles in Washington, D.C., including positions with the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, and has been recognized for his contributions to industry through awards such as the Federal Laboratory to Industry Technology Transfer Award from the Colorado Technology Transfer Society.

Maraia Tanner

Maraia Tanner is the Chairman of the Board and CEO of STAR HARBOR™, overseeing its growth since its inception. With a background in astrophysics from UC Berkeley and UC Irvine, Maraia previously contributed to major aerospace projects at TRW and Northrop Grumman, including work on NASA/JPL missions and large-scale defense payloads. She led efforts in conceptual systems engineering for missions like Mars Sample Return and Space Interferometry and was a Mission Engineer for Sensoria I, a pioneering analog crew simulation in Hawaii. Maraia's career spans bidding on multimillion-dollar contracts, founding a marketing consulting firm, and coaching zero-gravity flights. She is dedicated to advancing climate solutions, sustainability, and diversity in STEAM fields while pursuing her pilot licenses in Colorado, where she lives with her family.

Mike Narum

The CPI Group

Mike Narum is the Chief Operating Officer for the CPI Group. The CPI Group is based out of Denver but executes customer programs and projects nationally for our High Tech and Healthcare customers. CPI's larger market segments include Aerospace, electronics manufacturing-semi conductor, food & beverage, as well as life science facilities, medical equipment, and healthcare facility planning. Mike is a native to Colorado with a background that includes prior roles as a general contractor, developer and now oversees CPI's Program Management team and strategies.
