Speakers
Marc Perusse Marc Perusse is the Chief Investment Officer for Revesco Properties. Prior to joining Revesco Properties, Marc was a Principal with Cress Capital, Chase Merritt and a Vice President with Andrews Securities where he acted as a principal investor, placement agent and adviser to leading institutional and entrepreneurial real estate investors, operators and developers. Prior to these activities, he held an investment and due diligence role with an independent broker dealer focusing on the syndication of commercial real estate transactions to high net worth investors. Marc has been involved in over $750 million worth of commercial real estate transactions as a broker, investor, and consultant. Marc received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Denver cum laude with a major in Real Estate and Construction Management. Marc has provided opinions and quotations on topics pertaining to real estate securities and finance for various publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Business Week, and Colorado Real Estate Journal. He holds his Colorado Real Estate License and has been associated with ULI, and NAIOP where he was awarded the Developing Leader of the year in 2016.
William Lam William has been responsible for sourcing $145MM worth of development to date. This pipeline is comprised of Ground Up Multifamily Development and Value-Add Multifamily Acquisitions. He is continuously digging up the next deal in multiple markets ranging from Denver to Colorado Springs, and as far west as Salt Lake City, UT. Prior to Real Estate Development, William enjoyed a career as a licensed structural engineer in Denver, Colorado working with Martin/Martin and other leading firms. He has designed a range of different project types including apartment Buildings, Hotels, Offices, Convention Centers, Retail Spaces & Commercial Restaurants, Parking Garages, and Luxury Custom Homes. William holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from the University of Denver, as well as a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado. Outside of work, William volunteers with Urban Land Institute and NAIOP Colorado, helping to plan and implement their educational development programs. While he isn’t working or volunteering, William enjoys Colorado’s great outdoors skiing during the winter and camping all summer.
Chris Payne Chris has more than a decade of engineering, construction, development, and project management experience, spanning sectors such as commercial, residential, hospitality, mixed-use, and heavy civil. At Riverside Investment & Development, Chris serves as Vice President and leads all operations in Colorado including development, design, construction, and completion of projects. Chris recently oversaw the development of 110 North Wacker Drive / Bank of America Tower, a 1.5 million RSF and 55-story Class A office building in downtown Chicago. In 2021 he relocated to his hometown of Denver to oversee the development of 1900 Lawrence, a 700,000 RSF and 30-story Class A office building in downtown Denver. Chris received Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Nick Kitaeff Nick serves as senior development director leading the mixed-use and multi-family development platforms at Confluent Development. Nick has nine years of development experience and has led and managed an excess of $230 million in projects. As a senior development director, he is responsible for managing the development process through sourcing new opportunities, design & planning, marketing, lease negotiation, entitlements, permitting, financing, construction, and occupancy. Nick has served on several local boards including Denver Commercial Association of Realtors (DMCAR) ICSC’s local Colorado Chapter and he is heavily involved with NAIOP Colorado. Nick currently serves as Chair of NAIOP Colorado’s Developing Leaders chapter. Through his engagement with these boards, Nick works to promote and develop professional careers for members within networking and mentoring programs that educate and enhance young professionals’ career trajectories. Nick was an honoree recognized in the 2022 Denver Business Journal’s annual 40 Under 40 Award program.
Brett Leonhardt Brett joined the leadership team at Schnitzer West to build out the company’s multifamily and mixed-use platform. He is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing multifamily investments in the company’s target markets. Prior to joining Schnitzer West in 2021, Brett was the Regional Vice President of Development for Aimco in Denver focusing on ground-up and redevelopment of dozens of projects across six major markets. Prior to that he executed dense urban multifamily and mixed-use projects in New York City with Madison Realty Capital and spent time as a Limited Partner with Partners Group. Brett holds a B.S. in architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He has a Master of Science in real estate finance from New York University and completed the Real Estate Management program at Harvard University. He is an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects, a LEED accredited professional, and a member of ULI. Jeff Welber |
