Webinar: Lights Camera Action
Wednesday, April 22, 2020, 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM MDT
Category: Education

Let’s face it – we are being forced to use cameras to communicate.

When is the last time you thought about framing, lighting, backgrounds and production value? There’s a reason why true video production and cinematography motivate us to watch. Why? Because, it’s done in a meticulous, pre-meditated way -- driving the eye at what’s important, clear sound, and the understanding of the feelings that accompany the viewer experience.

The session will help AEC Marketers and technical leads master virtual communication platforms  both set up and content delivery. Looking and sounding your best is key to how your important message is received and retained. The way you frame your scenes, use visualizations and integrate powerful speech is more critical than ever in the A/E/C business today.

We know that not everyone has the budget to hire an Emmy-Award winning director or a highly-decorated producer – but this session is your chance to hear directly from two industry seasoned production pros – one of which HAS won an Emmy.

Learning Objectives:

Setting the Stage to Differentiate
Controlling your environment is a fundamental principle of stage and video production. Virtual meetings and interviews should still maintain the highest level of production value and professionalism. It’s an easy way to look better than the firms that aren’t paying attention to these things. What are we always trying to do? DIFFERENTIATE OUR FIRMS AND PEOPLE!

  • SOUND: Making sure you are creating the best audio for your listener is important.
  • LIGHTS: Pro tips and tricks for working with real scenes, and virtual backdrops. How to feature what’s most important…you!
  • CAMERA: Looking Your Best. This isn’t a movie set, it’s a webcam, but we can still understand how to set up camera shots correctly.
  • VISUALIZATIONS: Creating and using video, animation, interactive demo’s, and presentations effectively.
  • ACTION: Now it’s on you! Eye and Body Control are crucial! Being more dynamic, controlling where you look, working with others, transitions and closing will make a huge difference in your delivery.
