Our municipal panel includes develop ment experts from the City and County of Denver, the City of Westminster, a nd the City of Lone Tree.
Scott Richrath with the City & Count y of Denver will provide an update on the more than 500 projects stemming f rom the Elevate Denver Bond Program — a 10-year, $937 million bond passed i n 2017 including transportation, infrastructure, parks and recreation cente rs, libraries and cultural facility projects. What’s going on at downtown W estminster? Westminster is a first-ring suburb of the metro Denver area and a growing urban center, with a population of about 113,000 – but that does n’t begin to describe the unique places, neighborhoods and development proj ects that can be found across the city. Already known for its great use of open space and plenty of parks, Westminster is creating denser and more urb an spaces, including its new city hub, Downtown Westminster. Jenni Grafton will share insights about plans for Westminster’s new downtown with plans f or 10 million SF of new development. Discover the Ridge Gate Development! J eff Holwell with the City of Lone Tree will bring information about the lar gest area of growth in Lone Tree over the next few decades, which will be t he master-planned community known as Ridge Gate Development, Lone Tree’s ne w downtown with 12 million SF of development.
