Glen Eyrie was the estate of William Jackson Palmer, a Brigadier General in the Union Army during the Civil War, president of The Denver and Rio Grande Railroad, and founder of Colorado Springs.

Glen Eyrie is undertaking a multi-year, multi-phase upgrade of mechanical and safety systems in the Castle to improve their guest experience. The upgrades include:

  • Fire suppression in rooms, hallways and common areas.

  • HVAC upgrades in each room.

  •  All electrical and plumbing upgrades.

  • Mechanical upgrades including sound suppression.

  • Cosmetic and fixture upgrades while keeping circa 1905 period integrity.

Come check out the work, and hear about the challenges in restoring and upgrading a historic property from the project manager at Glen Eyrie Castle.

Following the tour, we will have a room reserved for networking, and light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres.
