Moderator: Kevin Brettmann Panelists: Mike Reilly, AIA Michael Reilly has been an Architect and Lab Planner with Page for nearly ten years. He collaborates with lab tenants, building owners, and institutional clients to deliver high performing solutions in the Denver/Boulder area. His project experience spans many project types: University research and teaching, pharmaceutical, electronics, clean room, forensic, animal research, and spec labs. Michael is passionate about promoting emerging professionals within the industry – he is a board member for the ACE Mentor Program of Colorado and participates in several AIA Leadership Development initiatives. Elyse Blazevich Elyse leads CBSA’s work to create co-opportunity for Colorado’s life sciences community. She brings deep knowledge of life sciences company needs, CBSA as an organization, and Colorado’s business community to offer continuity, connections, and a clear vision for the future of CBSA and the ecosystem it represents. Before joining CBSA, she co-founded Securisyn Medical and led the organization as COO and CFO, transitioning the company from a founder-led startup to a professionally led, commercial-stage medical device company. Previously, Elyse led investor relations for the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. She has also served as a board member and leader for Project C.U.R.E. and the Blue Bench in addition to her board leadership role with CBSA. Rachel Romero Rachel Romero, PE, joined NREL in 2010 and is an energy engineer and project leader. She is a project manager for the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon®, a collegiate competition that inspires more than 1,000 students annually to become the next generation of zero energy buildings professionals. Rachel is the competition manager for the Solar Decathlon Design Challenge and also supports Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) projects through technical and project leadership, including developing technical solutions, leading training development, and working with partners on high-performance buildings.
