How will the infrastructure bill change A/E/C in Colorado?

The $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill touches so many critical systems—roads and bridges, passenger and freight railways, waterways, mass transit, ports and airports, the water supply, and even broadband access—that it can be hard to wrap your head around its potential impact. The bill represents a historic investment in our nation’s infrastructure, as well as a tremendous opportunity for Colorado’s A/E/C industry.

To help us better understand the full scope and impact of the bill, SMPS Colorado has assembled a virtual panel of industry professionals who will share their insights into the bill, in particular the types of projects it will support, and offer their thoughts on how attendees can take advantage of this once-in-a-generation opportunity. The panel will also discuss the impacts of Senate Bill 260 (Sustainability of the Transportation System) and the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Reduction Roadmap.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the legislative actions and how they will impact both public and private projects.
  • Learn about the types of projects that the infrastructure bill will fund.
  • Find out the anticipated timing of bill funding.
  • Discover steps you can take to position your team for projects funded by the bill.
