Friday Fireside Chats - Where do I go from here?
Friday, November 20, 2020, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM MDT
Category: SOCO

Join us for our bi-monthly, virtual Fireside Friday Chats hosted by the Southern Colorado committee.

Where do I go from here? It’s a question many marketers and business developers find themselves asking, especially in these difficult times. Most of us will make a number of career decisions in our lives, but how do we know if it’s the right decision for us? Join three senior-level professionals as they describe how they grew up in the A/E/C industry and made career moves that ultimately led them to a seat at the table or C-Suite. Come with your burning questions, engage and network with other professionals, and learn how you can make bold career moves.

Tentative Schedule:
10:00AM - 10:10AM: Introduction of guest experts
10:10AM - 10:50AM: Moderated, open conversation
10:50AM - 11:00AM: Closing statements and advice

Discussions with the experts may tackle some of the more elusive ideas including:

1. How did you advocate for your own career progression?
2. How did you take big risks, and did they pay off?
3. What did the decision-making process look like?
4. What sacrifices were made in your career progression?
5. How did professional development enhance your advancement?

What’s on your mind?  What would you like to know?  We want to hear your burning questions! Send any topical or taboo questions by Thursday, November 19, to: [email protected] or be prepared to ask during the open conversation.
