Webinar: Embracing a Remote Workforce to Improve Business
Wednesday, May 13, 2020, 1:15 PM - 2:15 PM MDT
Category: Education

Companies that were once not setup to support remote employees have all of a sudden become forced into telecommuting. Setting up the infrastructure for remote employees is one thing. A bigger challenge is managing teams of people to keep the business moving forward. Whether you have direct reports or you are reporting to someone at your company, this session will give each attendee actionable takeaways they can implement immediately.

Using lessons learned from scrum (practices in agile project management), relying on over 15 years of experience in the AEC industries, building a productive marketing team, and helping lead a growing company, Julie Huval of Beck Technology will guide the session through tactics that work for managing down and up regardless of where your desk may be located.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how to use a daily standing meeting to get a pulse on project progress without eating up time.
  • Explore setting OKRs to track productivity that leads to company goals.
  • Create a platform for team members to increase their continuing education and turn those lessons into initiatives.
  • Build and navigate trust through metric reporting.
