Janet Fritz has marketed Colorado places for more than 20 years. She’s spoken nationally at International Economic Development Council and Economic Development Administration conferences on economic development marketing and social media best practices. She is currently the Director of Marketing & Communications for Adams County Economic Development where she directs all B2B marketing, communications, social media, and public relations initiatives. There, she leads industry marketing strategies and works with the real estate/development/site selection communities to promote major Adams County developments such as Colorado Air and Space Port and the Aerotropolis surrounding Denver International Airport.

Michelle Claymore | Economic Development Director
Commerce City Economic Development  

Michelle Claymore is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) with over 25 years of experience. She joined the City of Commerce City in August of 2014 and previously served as Vice President of the Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation from 1995-2014. She is a Colorado native and a graduate of Colorado State University. Michelle has also received a Certificate in International Marketing and Management from Front Range Community College. Michelle received the Economic Developer of the Year award from the Economic Development Council of Colorado in 2010 and founded Colorado’s Basic Economic Development Course in 2008. She is also a member of the International Economic Development Council.

     
 

Drew McManus | Managing Director

Drew McManus is a Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield. The McManus Industrial Team provides corporate real estate advisory and transactional services to local, regional, and national clients specializing in the sales and leasing of industrial and investment properties. Drew focuses on developing long term relationships with his clients to execute both short and long-term real estate strategies. Since his inception at Cushman & Wakefield. He has been recognized by DMCAR, NAIOP, CoStar, Colorado Real Estate Journal and The Denver Business Journal as a top producing and leading broker in Metro Denver. 

     
 

Michael Martinez | President/CEO  
Brighton Economic Development 

Michael Martinez has over eight years of economic development experience, working in a variety of roles in workforce development, business retention, expansion, attraction, and key strategic projects previously with Denver’s Office of Economic Development. A native of Adams County, Michael received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado-Denver. Michael has worked extensively with the Healthcare, Bioscience and Technology clusters amongst others and has vast industry knowledge and experience in creating sound, beneficial partnerships. As the BEDC Executive Director, Michael is responsible for creating and maintaining partnerships with Brighton business owners and stakeholders in the community as well as spearheading our retail attraction and expansion efforts. Michael also serves as the Past President of the Colorado Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (CAHREP) and currently sits on their board of directors.

     
 

Susan Stanton | Principal
Stanton Solutions, representing Cowley Companies 

Susan has built a reputation for excellence in real estate development, land use, public-private partnerships, market analysis, governmental affairs and economic development. Susan currently works with both public and private sector entities. Susan has unique expertise in airport area development shaped by a multi-dimensional perspective. She worked for Denver International Airport during its development, then for economic development entities surrounding DEN, both from a regional and local perspective. Currently, she consults with multiple property owners on airport development opportunities. As a long-time advocate and supporter of Denver’s Airport, she and her clients were supporters of the Denver 1A campaign to help DEN achieve its economic development potential.
