Join us in September to hear how multiple school district leaders plan to meet the demands of their district.

In 2016 voters across Colorado approved over $3 billion in bond issues at over a dozen school districts for new build and improvement projects. In 2017 additional bond initiatives were approved. New PK-12 education design and construction projects are keeping our industry busy!

Along with the number of funded educational projects comes intense competition pursuing all of these projects. Maximizing educational client relationships will help firms remain competitive during these busy and challenging times. This roundtable is an opportunity to meet directly with the key decision makers in the K-12 market. The roundtables will consist of groups of 10 – 12 members seated around the guest speaker [a school district representative]. Attendees get the advantage of more informal and interactive discussions in areas of interest and the opportunity with more face-to-face time. These small rotating group interactions provide a unique opportunity to hear and share information about upcoming school opportunities and trends, as well as what school clients evaluate, and prefer, for in business practices such as proposals, and finally, how to get in front of them to win more work. This year’s K-12 roundtable will offer a fun twist with a “back to school” theme, including a unique buffet experience. This intimate networking setting will allow you the opportunity to connect with potential clients and your peers!

Partner with SMPS Colorado in donating to Denver Public School’s MEED Backpack and School Supply drive!

62,000 students who are enrolled in Denver Public Schools take advantage of the free/reduced-cost lunch program and over 2,000 of these students are homeless. It is not uncommon to see these children carry their belongings to school in grocery sacks.

Throughout the months of August and September SMPS Colorado is collecting cash donations to support Denver Public School’s MEED (Minority Enterprise & Educational Development) Backpack and School Supply drive. For more information on MEED please go to www.meedcolorado.org. Please join me in helping to provide essential school supplies to children in need. Use the button below to make a donation.

Thank you,
