September 2017: Communicating Graphically
Merrick
5970 Greenwood Plaza Blvd.
Greenwood Village, CO 80111
Thursday, September 28, 2017, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM MDT
Category: Education

This seminar will provide A/E/C marketers with an opportunity to hear first-hand how visual communications professionals think and communicate graphically. As an introduction, Markus Byron with MBR Studios will give a high-level overview of graphics for special pursuits and projects with larger budgets. Presenter Michael Pauk, Senior Technical Visualization Specialist with Kiewit will engage marketers in the process of thinking graphically when reading RFP language. He will explore graphics that talk to process, value and capacity – concepts that A/E/C marketers are frequently asked to communicate. Michael will walk the audience through a case study in which he developed an identity that positioned a project from the RFQ stage through construction. As an event take-away, Michael will poll the audience with specific questions to get data points that he will use to do a live graphic on the spot. There will be time for discussion at the end of the presentation.
