David Ruppel, Air and Space Port Director
Front Range Airport/Spaceport Colorado

David Ruppel is the Air and Space Port Director for Front Range Airport and future Spaceport Colorado. A career Naval Officer and Helicopter Aviator who retired from the Navy in 2005, he established a second career as an Airport Manager at Yampa Valley Regional Airport near Steamboat Springs Colorado.  During his nine year tour there he excelled in commercial airport development and created a world class resort airport serving the Yampa Valley and the resort communities.  Mr. Ruppel was hired in November of 2014 to head Front Range Airport and bring the Spaceport licensing effort to completion.  His efforts have helped to move the airport closer to self sufficiency and will finalize the receipt of the Launch Site Operator License in 2018.  Mr. Ruppel has an enduring passion for all aspects of Space operations and is developing Front Range Airport/Spaceport Colorado to be the premier Commercial Space and Aerospace center in the United States. Mr. Ruppel resides in Thornton with his wife Jill.  He can be reached at druppel@adcogov.org.

     
 

Debra Wilcox, Co-Founder & Principal
The 3D Printing Store & Alex Air (respectively)

Debra Wilcox's career includes aviation and aerospace, clean energy, and law. She is a current member of the Colorado Space Business Roundtable Board and has served on the Colorado Aeronautical Board, the Citizens Advisory Committee for the regional FasTracks project, and several aviation/aerospace business groups. Ms. Wilcox is also the co-Founder of The 3D Printing Store, her first foray into manufacturing.

She holds a BA from the University of Northern Colorado, a Juris Doctor degree from the University Of Denver Strum College Of Law and a certificate in Leadership in Sustainability from the University of Denver.

     
 

Jay Lindell, Major General (Ret), USAF
Aerospace and Defense Industry Champion at Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade

Jay Lindell is a retired Air Force major general and is currently serving as the Aerospace and Defense Industry Champion, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. In this role, Jay promotes aerospace and defense industry economic development for Colorado. He has been in his current position since November 2013.

Maj Gen Lindell is a 1978 graduate of the Air Force Academy and went on to serve over 33 years in the Air Force retiring 1 January 2012. His graduate education includes a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Troy University and numerous professional military and executive education programs.

Crystal Peden has worked in many industries – aerospace, life sciences, corporate and federal, to name a few – within commercial real estate throughout her career. Working on projects for both private and government clients across the country, she gained a variety of experiences in project management, negotiating, cost and schedule management and relationship building that have brought success to her projects and clients. Ms. Peden holds a bachelor degree from the Colorado School of Mines.  In her spare time, she serves on a number of boards and enjoys giving back to the community.
