| Event Description |
This program is targeted for principals, marketers, and business development professionals who are wondering how to identify and win design and construction projects with federal agencies: Questions addressed will include which federal agencies hire designers and constructors, how do they advertise and solicit offers for their opportunities, and how do they make their selections. Emphasis will be on Colorado based agencies, but a national view will also be presented. Also presented will be information on federal agency small and disadvantaged business enterprise (SDBE) categories and how to take advantage of these categories for limiting or eliminating competition for projects. |

 Rosemary Ortiz
Small Business Specialist, Department of the Interior, National Park Services, Denver Service Center
Rosemary serves as the Liasion between the Denver Service Center and the Small Business Administration Procurement Center Representative. She is responsible for the nationwide planning, promoting, and enforcing of procurement opportunities for small business. She councils with small business owners on how to do business with the National Park Service.
 José Martínez
Procurement Analyst, U.S. Small Business Administration
José works daily with agency Small Business Specialists, Contract Officers, small businesses plus with large prime contractor’s Small Business Liaison Officers. He has been a Procurement Center Representative in Colorado since 1993.
