| Event Description |
There is one large organization that consistently spends money, and actually spends even more money when the economy is bad: the federal government. Attend this event and first learn how to gain entry into the federal market, and then how to be successful once you are in. This luncheon program will focus on the essentials of what you need to know to market to federal agency clients:
- Understanding how the federal government operates - Contrary to popular belief, that's actually not an oxymoron!
- Learning where to find opportunities - Billions of dollars can't just disappear into thin air (though sometimes it may seem like it)
- Developing strategies for gaining entry to the federal marketplace - The old “Catch 22”: you need experience to win the contract, but can't get the experience without winning a contract
- Preparing proposals and SF330 submittals - How to avoid being disqualified
- Identifying and avoiding landmines that are unique to the federal marketplace - You don't want to end up like Jack Abramoff
